Become a Trustee
Chivers Trust – Norfolk & Suffolk
Help open the doors of the performing arts to young people who need it most.
The Chivers Trust is inviting applications from new Trustees to join the Board.
Since 2007, the Trust has awarded grants that enable children and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds across Norfolk and Suffolk to take part in singing, drama, music, dance and other performing arts projects. Our funding helps remove barriers, unlock confidence, and create life-changing creative opportunities.
We are now seeking passionate and committed individuals who share our belief that access
to the arts should never depend on circumstance.
We welcome experience in areas such as:
- Public or state education
- Youth engagement and participation
- Arts and cultural development
- Charity governance
- Marketing, communications or partnerships
Trustees attend approximately five daytime meetings per year and, where possible, visit
supported projects to see the impact of our grants first-hand.
This is a voluntary role. Reasonable travel expenses are reimbursed.
If you would like to contribute your skills, insight and enthusiasm to a small but impactful regional charity, we are keen to hear from you.
To apply:
Email info@chiverstrust.org.uk with a short statement (maximum two pages) outlining
your experience and interest. A brief CV may also be included.
